SATS Inflight Catering Centre 1 (SICC1) Project involved design, supply and installation of complete refrigeration equipment and coldrooms for the entire kitchen complex. The refrigeration system is made up of three sets of multiple compressor racks with total eight nos. of screw compressors, total 390TR, serving the walk-in chillers and freezers, spiral blast chiller and freezer, refrigerated cabinets, locating throughout the kitchen complex. Spiral blast chiller and spiral blast freezer are installed to quick chill and freeze the bulk cook foods and meals with continuous production through conveyor belt system. An ice production plant equipped with Vogt tube ice machine is designed to produce total capacity of 14 tons tube ice per day operation.
